Charlie is 7 Months Old Today!

Charlie at 8 weeks old is only about 10 pounds and has big blue eyes. He looks like a funny little elf in this picture because his nose is too big for his body and his skin is a little baggy.

Who could resist that face?

He came to live with us 5 months ago.

Gosh, he was cute …

But, the more we get to know him, the more we realize something that should not be ignored about this dog.

You have probably already recognized the problem, and truthfully, we have too.

But now it is time to be frank and just admit what is becoming more and more obvious to everyone …

Charlie is Not a Lap Dog, Tim!

Charlie is sitting on Tim's lap in the recliner. Charlie is so big you can hardly see any of Tim's body--just his head above Charlie's head.

Note: No Best Hunting Buddies were injured during the making of this photo. Well anyway, not too badly.

    • And he’s not even done growing. In a couple of months, we will probably have to add on to the house so he can stretch out in front of the fire. 🙂
